A Serious Relapse

Just when I thought I was getting better -

I have had a serious relapse of BEAS Disease (Buys Excessive Art Supplies)

I was just browsing around on E-Bay and there was this auction for 90 tubes of Winsor Newton 5ml watercolors and some how I bid on them- and then I guess I won the bid -and then I got all these tubes with 56 diffefent colors--for about 25 or 26 of the colors I got a single tube -for 24 of the colors I got two tubes -and for 6 colors I got three tubes -

but they are luscious and I have been experimenting see Brushy Creek #3 or4

And they were a great buy $107.00 which included shipping -

I am sorry to see your Beas disease has not been controlled. Are you going back IN, for more agressive treatment this time?
I had a surprise Beas breakdown. It was eBay too.
Colored Pencils. Derwent pencil sets where up and
I bid as a joke to myself and there was one Prismacolor.
38 in the Derwent, and 48 in Prismacolor. I havebeen reorganizing. Putting my supplies in order to use them all up. Take care let me know how the new treatment goes,
I am taking 2nd level cure.

Oh my GOSH! My first 6 5ml tubes of WN watercolors cost that much! Can't wait to see more of your beautiful watercolor paintings.

Your work is lovely....and this blog absolutely hilarious!! I didn't know it had a name, this BEAS thing.....I share the malady with you. And, I too succumbed to the very same auction of W & N 5ml water color tubes awhile back. I can't tell you that it will be the end....my collection of watercolors only started there. I have since added several more to the collection including a series of Daniel Smith metallic and iridescent watercolors.....have had to start a third tray of 24 to hold them all. Sigh......I share your pain. ;o)

I've got it bad too. I just bought a bunch of hand dyed fabrics yesterday. I don't need fabrics. I have too much already and seldom use fabric anymore - but it was so pretty! Maybe the only cure is a fallen economy!

Simply ENJOY them!

ROTFL! That is like my disease of going into an office supply store and going to town.

Well... I can think of WORSE vices to have.

I think if you are HAPPY with your choice, and have no shame, regret or remorse, you aren't "in your disease."!! Love your floral from lasst time, too.
