I confess there has been a bridge I can see from my back deck - that I could not even consider sketching let alone posting on a blog - but here it is -quick easy and painless - and in pen!!! -I had only a few pen lines when I did the wash but then went back in and added foreground detail (probably too much) --

Enjoyed looking at your new blog - well done on getting going on your creative journey...and in pen too! I like the foreground detail here - it makes the background look softer and further away.
