POP ART

yahoo!!!!! this is a sketch under an hour- this is what I joined EDM to learn to do - If I did it once I can do it again - I'm happier with this than any other piece I've done since June - except of course I am not happy with the handwriting and journaling but YEA!!! ME!!!!!

This turned out really well! I love it. We call it pop here in London, ON Canada.

I really like your EDM contribution.

Very very spot on - congratulations!

Fabulous! All those folds in the metal were handled wonderfully. And of course you'll be able to do it again. Worrying that you can't will just slow down your next effort!

Lovely drawing. I see why you are so pleased with it.

I'm in Ontario also not far down the road from London where Ana is and as far as I know every where in ON people we call the nasty fizzy liquid stomach rot Pop. (ooops, showing my bias). In fact back in the day there was a small chain of stores called the Pop Shoppe.

This is amazing! The shadowed shaping of the bottom is my favourite part.

Terrific, Kathleen! That was a real challenge, and you did it!

You should be very proud of yourself. This is amazing!!!! And you journaling is perfect! Very proud of you. Why do southerners call everything coke? Being married to a Texan and having tons of family down there, I've never figured it out:-). I'm from Wisconsin and we call everything "pop". Funny huh? BTW, I do get more when I have a million things to do versus having nothing to do. Haven't quit figured that out either:-)!

Wonderful, both the sketch and your enthusiasm! ;)

Now THAT'S nice looking trash! Some sketches just 'click' like this. When it happens to me I just sit back and say "who drew that?--me?". Keep going. It'll happen again.
