Different Strokes - Her Boots - (maybe final version)

This is the version I submitted to Karin's Different strokes from Different Folks - I'm having fun with the crayons but I think maybe this background is boring -I found a box of 64 crayola brand crayons - Kajsa gave them to me when she was cleaning her craft area out - and I discovered them while I was reorganizing my studio -- I enjoyed kind of scribbling with them -

That's a great picture Kathleen. No I think the background being less makes the shoes look more if you get what I mean. You're drawn straight to them and their wonderful colours. I'd love a pair like that!!! Such fun with the crayons too. Wonderful work.

I admire your choice of medium -- appeals to the kid in me. I always loved a big beautiful 64 box of crayons and I'm not even sure I ever had that! I also admire your adventurous artistic spirit... I want more of that myself! Loved seeing and hearing about your studio. Mine could reeeeally use some work, to the point I paint in the kitchen!

This is awesome. I don't know why I never use crayons. Probably because they are never sharp:-)! You should be very proud of yourself.
