Another page for Mandy's journal project I was supposed to talk about my style -- I don't think I have one. These pictures show two extremes of me --the Hammered Dulcimer Player Me and the Old Lady Biker Me.
My daughter and I laugh hysterically when I put on my biker helmet -- and my sister can't look at me when I put it on because they both think it is not me at all - I just think its silly and fun-- All the little boys that see it have to tell me how much they really like my helmet - I believe them.
I learned to ride a motorcycle when I was 52 -(I am 59 now and in the photo above)-I really love the way it makes me feel when I ride - it reminds me of when we had a horse (her name was Cowgirl) and I would go galloping through the fields bareback (Cowgirl was bareback I wore clothing)

Love the bike helmet! I ride a motorcycle, but wear a full-faced helmet AND I play the flute! We have so much in common! :)
Thank you so much for your kind comments about my D.O.G.... we really miss him and it warms my heart to know that others that didn't know him get to read about him on my blog.
Warm regards,

Kathleen... I LOVE your helmet and googles.. what a hoot, I have a scooter (I'm a later bloomer I'm 57) with grey hair flying and a grin on my face top speed 35 mph.. it is so MUCH fun.. went and looked at Harley's but I'm scared to get a big bike... my little scooter suits me just fine... my horse was named Ms Lily..big old bay gaited horse I loved to ride her. Cancer patient too... funny how that little scare puts it all in perspective really quickly... my style is to have fun doing what makes me happy... and it all makes me happy too.
Great Journal page btw... I feel like mine has stagnated lately... gotta get the spark back.
what fun and you go girl, age ain't nothing but a number

You certainly have a style, and it's free and fun! Love your page - very cool helmet!
Love it! Eclectic is a great descriptive word, too ... who says we have to be pigeon-holed into something?
I soooo want a bike ... your memories of riding your horse & feeling the air flow around you makes me want one even more!
I started to write "What a hoot!" Then I saw Capt. Elaine said the same thing. Thanks for the laugh!
