Rosemary's Garden

Sketched on Rosemary's front porch in 95o heat with a glass of wine - this was the first sketch in my little homemade sketch book - I used water color crayons, ink and my ASW $1.00 brushes lots of fun - (It may have had something to do with the wine)

It only seemed like 950 here in Oregon. It was only in the upper 70s but was humid which is fairly unusual. Wine would have been nice but both hands were busy doing catch up on my yard work. I like this piece. Very serene and Happy. PS..just a youngster here..only married 36 years

It looks very nice, and I agree with Alan, serene. Love the soft colors you used.

Well, it seems neither heat nor wine could keep you from delivering another fine sketch!

Really lovely sketch......and I agree the process is only made more wonderful with wine. How else do you beat the heat? I've actually lampworked on occasion with a glass of wine on the side....same reason - crazy heat behind the torch. Questionable safety issue though...so I sip sloooowwwly. Your work is wonderful. Thanks for the welcome to EDM!
